Reporting Webinars & Trainings for Demonstration Grants

Data Quality, Data Management, and Performance Reporting Webinar TA Event: This recorded training covers the ins and outs of collecting participant information and maintaining quality data, as well as how to report data effectively and efficiently. The event contains two parts, viewable at the links below. The slides for Part 1 are available under "Related Content" on the lefthand side of this page.

• Part 1: Data Element Overview. In Part 1, presenters explain the definition of each data element that is required for the participant data file.
• Part 2: Guest Grantee Presentations. In Part 2, WORC grantee presenters share their practical approach to reporting. They discuss how to manage data, their approach to creating the participant data file, and applications for the data beyond performance reporting.

Performance Reporting Data Management Resource: This resource presents a decision framework for grantees that need to implement new technology to meet performance reporting requirements. It outlines four options for managing performance protocols and data.

WORC Round 4 Performance Webinar Part 1: Performance reporting is a key part of successful grant implementation. This training—Performance Reporting (Part 1)—includes a tour of the Dislocated Worker Grant (DWG) Community of Practice on WorkforceGPS and an overview of reporting resources developed for WORC Round 4 grant recipients. The webinar focuses on how to access the Workforce Integrated Performance System (WIPS) and prepare and submit the first Quarterly Narrative Report. 

WORC Round 4 Performance Webinar Part 2: This training covers the data collection requirements for WORC 4 participant reporting, including how to create a participant data file and how to submit the Quarterly Performance Report (QPR). Presented as part of the Appalachian Regional Commission’s (ARC) 2023 WORC Convening, the Performance Reporting Webinar is the second video in the WORC 2023 Virtual Convening video playlist. WORC Round 4 Performance Webinar Part 3: The third in a three-part webinar series for WORC Round 4 grantees, this training focused on key reporting concepts within the participant data file. To that end, presenters walked through each section of the data file, identifying important data elements and explaining how to fill them out. The training also prepared grantees to resolve errors in the participant data file.
